It’s been a wild couple of months with Covid-19 impacting just about every type of business here in Beaver County, and the wedding industry is certainly no exception.
After fielding dozens and dozens of calls and questions from couples over the past few weeks, I have noticed that most people are starting out with the exact same questions.
So to help anyone planning a wedding during this difficult time, here are our current answers for some of the most frequently asked questions regarding Covid-19 and upcoming weddings.
Should We Reschedule Our Wedding?
If your wedding is in May or early June of 2020, yes.
Even if the state reopens businesses, it will not be open for large gatherings over 50 people until a later date. And since you have to send your invites six weeks before, it would be a good idea to reschedule.
We are advising anyone who has a wedding for the end of June or early July to hold tight with the date. We should be closer to normal by then.
What If I Want to Have My Wedding on a Certain Date, But the Governor Says No?
We are abiding by all the mandates that the State of Pennsylvania provides us. So even if you want to go ahead and have the wedding, we would not be able to by law.
Do We Know When We Will Be Able to Have Weddings Again?
Well, shake up that Magic 8-Ball, and it will probably say, “Unclear at this time.”

Can We Still Reserve a Wedding Date for This Year or Next Year?
Absolutely.
We are not open, so we can only save the date for you now. But as soon as we can meet, we will get together to finalize any date you would like to book.
What If We Have Already Sent Our Invitations Out and We Have to Reschedule?
Just contact your guests in the easiest, most inexpensive way possible and inform them of the date change, and that all other details remain the same. Facebook, Instagram, group texts, and email are all great ways to get the word out.
