We are just a few weeks away from launching into another fall wedding season, and we are 100% ready for fall colors, rustic themes, and seasonal ciders!

No matter how close we are getting to your big day, everyone could use a little help with their planning and some inspiration for the custom details that will make their big day special.

The following ten articles are the best of what I saw floating around the web this week.

The Hottest Wedding Dessert Trends

With everything from custom-made popsicles and legit ice cream trucks to creative types of desserts that most of your guests have never even heard of, there is no limit to what you can do when it comes to wedding sweets theses days.

This recent article from Green Wedding Shoes highlights some of the very best trends we are seeing on the sweeter side of weddings today. Feel free to borrow or steal any that make your sweet tooth sing…or just schedule the Bruster’s truck and make everyone happy. 🙂

A Modern Winery Wedding Inspiration

“It was so fun, exciting and at times stressful planning it all! We were constantly brainstorming and coming up with things we could do to personalise our day and make it incredible. We love hosting, learning about different cultures and sharing experiences with our family and friends, so we wanted our wedding to reflect this. We also wanted to use local suppliers where possible and were so happy with all the vendors who executed it all perfectly!”

This wedding inspiration from The Wedding Playbook features a gorgeous winery wedding that combines a classic look with plenty of fun modern touches.

Amazing Outdoor Wedding Venues

Whether we are talking about the woods, the beach, or the park, there is nothing quite like an outdoor wedding ceremony. This article from our friends at WeddingWire breaks down 22 different options for outdoor venues that you can draw ideas from.

We have hosted plenty of receptions that followed outdoor ceremonies over the years, and we can even serve as a backup option for the ceremony if the weather doesn’t cooperate.

Save Money With a Dual Purpose Venue

Speaking of things that we do well, this post from The Budget Savvy Bride points out the financial benefits that come with having your ceremony and reception at the same venue

We offer multiple options for hosting your ceremony, and we are also surrounded by a number of great photo locations that you can visit before returning for your grand entrance at the reception.

Classic Car Wedding Inspiration

“This rustic barn wedding is about to get you in the mood for the weekend. There are epic smoke bomb and dance off moments captured by Kazooieloki, plus a Ford Mustang wedding car which our super fun couple very cooley drive off into the sunset in.”

That Mustang. That barn. That look. Everything about this wedding. If you only check out one inspiration this week, Rock My Wedding has the one. All it takes is a quick scroll through these pictures and you will feel like you already know the bride and groom.

Instrumental Music Recommendations

Our friends at WeddingWire always go above and beyond to help make your wedding planning a little bit easier. This week, they put out an article highlighting 20 different instrumental songs that are perfect for different parts of your big day.

If you are looking for the perfect music to compliment the various parts of your wedding, this is a fantastic place to start. And if you need more help after that, we have a massive selection of music and plenty of ideas we can recommend.

DIY Rustic Wedding Invitations

I stumbled onto a few new wedding blogs this week, and one of the best ones I found was Artfully Wed. This awesome site covers all kinds of different DIY projects that will make your wedding stand out…in a good way.

One of the articles that jumped off the page was this guide to making your own rustic wedding invitations. It seriously walks you through the entire process. So forget inspiration, this is the complete DIY guide.

Another Beautiful Barn Wedding

I’m sure it seems like I feature a barn wedding inspiration just about every week. Actually, I probably do include one more often than not…but there are so many good ones and they all look amazing!

This week’s barn wedding inspiration comes from Rustic Wedding Chic. The bride is wearing boots, there are whiskey barrels at the altar, and they used that window pane seating chart that is so popular right now. It’s perfect.

How to Write Your Thank You Notes

“Let’s be honest, it’s a task a lot of us have not loved doing since we were kids … writing out dozens of thank you notes following all the planning and celebration. It’s kind of the final step of your wedding planning journey, so it is even kind of a bit sad (and that is okay!). And now you have to figure out how to write your thank you notes, besides! Knowing how and what to write on your thank you cards is easy once you get the hang of it. Follow these easy tips … and you’ll be done before you know it!”

I’m terrible at writing thank you notes, and I’m a writer. It’s something that everyone puts off, but that doesn’t mean you have to. Check out these thank you note tips and tricks from Magnet Street and you’ll be on your way to crushing those thank you notes way ahead of schedule.

The Classic Cadillac

We already saw a classic Mustang in one of this week’s wedding inspirations, but the classic cadillac in this wedding inspiration from Once Wed takes the cake as one of the best classic car usages in recent wedding history. It matches the day to absolute perfection.
